About

The operating system for luxury travel advisors.

We started TripPortfolio because the people designing the most extraordinary trips in the world were stuck running their practices on five disconnected tools that did not talk to each other.

Why we exist

Luxury travel is in the middle of a structural renaissance. Affluent travelers are choosing experiential indulgence over conspicuous consumption, and they are coming back to advisors for the kind of curated, multi-destination trips that no online booking tool can coordinate. Yet the advisors serving this boom still juggle a CRM, an itinerary builder, a proposal tool, a form builder, a task board, and a separate communication platform — re-typing the same passport into four systems and losing hours per trip to administrative friction. That fragmentation is the real ceiling on advisor productivity, and it is the reason TripPortfolio exists.

We set out to build one calm, branded workspace that covers the entire arc of an advisor’s relationship with a client — from first inquiry through post-trip follow-up — without the context switching. Itineraries flow into invoices. Hotel quotes flow into trip days. Client preferences enter the system once and follow the traveler everywhere. The traveler downloads one app, with one login, and sees their advisor’s brand from the proposal to the boarding pass.

Who we’re building for

Independent luxury advisors who run their own book of business under a host agency. Boutique agencies of two to twenty advisors who specialise in safaris, river cruises, cultural tours, or honeymoons. Host agency networks that want to standardise on a single platform their advisors actually want to use. The common thread is that every one of them sells trust, taste, and access — and they need software that gets out of the way so they can spend their hours on the high-touch service that defines the category.

The Claude Cowork moat

Most travel software treats AI as a button bolted onto a legacy CRM. We took the opposite path. TripPortfolio ships a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that securely exposes your itineraries, properties, contacts, quotes, and notes to Claude — or any other MCP-aware AI client. Connect once, and Claude can draft proposals from your real supplier history, surface the right boutique hotel for a returning client, and update trips with you in the loop instead of behind your back. The advisor stays the curator; the model handles the typing.

We call this pattern Cowork because the model is not pretending to replace the advisor and the advisor is not pretending to proofread an autocomplete. It is a working session between a human expert and an agent that has read-write access to the same source of truth. That is only possible because the data model, the auth boundary, and the MCP server are all designed together — and that is the integration that competitors who bolt a chat widget onto a fifteen-year-old CRM cannot replicate.

Our mission

Give every luxury travel advisor the operating system their clients already think they have. Make the platform feel as considered as the trips that ship out of it. And keep the human advisor — not the algorithm — at the centre of the experience. We measure ourselves on hours returned to advisors per week, trips delivered without a missed detail, and travelers who arrive at the airport with a single app that just works.

The team

TripPortfolio is built by a small, opinionated team of operators and engineers who have shipped consumer travel products, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, and AI infrastructure at companies that take both craft and reliability seriously. We are headquartered in San Francisco and we ship from anywhere our advisors are.
